30-Day Return Window
Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Your item must be unused, in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
Made-to-Order Items
A curated selection of our products are crafted specially to order to ensure you receive the freshest, highest-quality item possible. These pieces are marked as "Made to Order" on their product pages and are final sale. We know you'll love them!
Items We Cannot Accept
For health, safety, and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Made-to-order items (clearly marked on product pages)
- Used or burned candles (unless defective)
- Personal care items that have been opened
- Sale or clearance items marked "Final Sale"
- Gift cards
How to Start a Return
- Email us at info@flatiron-home.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include your order number and reason for return
- We'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions within 1 business day
- Pack your item securely in its original packaging
- Drop it off at any USPS location
Return Shipping
We provide a prepaid return label for your convenience. A $6.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund to cover our costs. Returns due to our error (wrong item, defective, or damaged) are always free.
Exchanges
We want you to get exactly what you love! The fastest way is to return your original item for a refund, then place a new order for the item you'd prefer. This ensures you get your new item as quickly as possible.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@flatiron-home.com with photos. We'll make it right with a free replacement or full refund—no return required for defective items.
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your return:
- We'll inspect it within 2 business days
- You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund is approved
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
- Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for your bank to process the refund
